After leaving Banff, we continued to head west on the Trans Canadian Highway toward Lake Louise. Once we exited the highway in Lake Louise, we drove for a short distance up a mountain side and this is what awaited us.

The Chateau Lake Louise Hotel |
We parked the motorcycles and walked over to Lake Louise, which is located behind Chateau Lake Louise. The color of this lake is unlike anything we have ever seen. The water is clear and cold.

Seeing this beautiful Glacier fed lake was not enough for some of the group. They rented canoes and spent some time on Lake Louise canoeing around.

After a lunch at the hotel, it was back on the motorcycles and we continued on through Banff National Park towards Revelstoke. Along they way, we left the province of Alberta and entered British Columbia. This also meant that we were back in the Pacific Time Zone, glad I didn't change the clock on the motorcycle.
We also entered the Canadian portion of Glacier National Park. Once again we were treated to the sight of numerous lakes, streams and water falls.

We made it into Revelstock for the evening and checked the weather. We learned that a storm was expected so we covered the motorcycles for the evening and headed to dinner.
Canada continues to show that it is a beautiful country. Around each bend in the highway there is another treat for the eyes and another reason to get the camera out. Today alone, Linda took over 500 photos. While it is not possible to post all of them, I try to give a sample of what we have seen during the day. Along with the photos from the other couples, I have many to choose from.
Tomorrow we have a short ride to the City of Kamloops.
